简介

Fung Yi Sum is a Hong Kong actor born in mainland China in 1988, originally named Fung Tze Sum. He moved to Hong Kong with his family at age three, where his father ran two garment factories before the business failed and his parents divorced. He had obsessive-compulsive tendencies and a love for acting from a young age, and developed an interest in performing after his singing was praised by classmates and teachers during a karaoke session. After finishing secondary school, he considered joining the police and studying abroad, then was invited for an audition and decided to study music theory and singing under Dory Chung. He attempted to join TVB training in 2006 and 2007 but was unsuccessful, working as a construction worker, waiter, and sales clerk. In 2013, he succeeded in joining the 27th TVB Artist Training Course. He gained recognition in 2018 for his role as "Chen Boqiang (Sha Qiang)" in the sitcom "Come Home Love: Lo and Behold," though his role was reduced the following year, drawing some viewer dissatisfaction. That same year, he founded the entertainment company "Jun Yi Entertainment Culture." He left TVB in October 2020 to focus on development in mainland China.
