Justin Cheung Kin Sing
Biography
Justin Cheung Kin Sing is a Hong Kong actor, presenter, and director born on 11 March 1983. He grew up in Mong Kok, Kowloon, to parents whose father owned several taxi licences, but the family lost their wealth when he was two years old and moved to Jordan Valley. He was a good student but began drifting away in Form Four, working in manual jobs such as driver, loader, and cleaner at the Mandarin Oriental hotel before travelling to Perth, Australia for a working holiday. He returned to Hong Kong to work as a freelance model after noticing his striking appearance, then entered acting in 2010 when a producer invited him to his first film "囡囡". He faced difficulties obtaining roles after being typecast as a Category III actor due to "一路向西", so he decided to study acting at Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre. He earned the nickname "rubber man of cinema" for his ability to repeatedly gain and lose weight for roles, gaining 50 lbs for "壹獄壹世界" and losing it in just two months, then repeating the feat in "一秒拳王" and "大俠action". He achieved major success with the 2017 web series "反黑" alongside Lee Chan Chan and Jordan Chan, which garnered nearly 1.7 billion clicks in China, and won a Yahoo! award for best web series role for his character "招積", inspired by the Joker. He won the Outstanding Actor award at the 2022 AEG ceremony for "逃獄兄弟" and served as a star fan of football club Jin Feng between 2020 and 2023.
