简介

Paul Che Biu Law (Chinese: 車 Paulo), original name Wu Ming Cang, is a Hong Kong actor. Born on November 30, 1959. He was an artist with RTV (later ATV) and TVB during the 1980s and 1990s. He started his career as a bakery apprentice, then worked in a restaurant where he met a theatre manager who invited him to work as an usher. He later worked at Lee Theatre tearing tickets. After being robbed while delivering theatre funds to the bank, management considered him diligent and transferred him to lighting, sound, and engineering technician roles. In 1979, he made his film debut in "Spider-Man" through a director friend's introduction. He chose the stage name "Che Po-lo" where "Che" refers to his love of cars. He appeared in Tsui Hark's "Dangerous Type I". He joined RTV in 1981 and appeared in series like "Dui Dui Wu" and "Da Si Xi". Due to his 190cm height and long thin face, he often played comedic or villainous roles. In 1983, he co-founded a film props company. In the late 1990s, he returned to settle in Hong Kong. He currently works as a market supervisor and freelance artist.
