Chen Dazhi is a Hong Kong entertainment investor and businessman, born in 1947, with ancestral roots in Taishan, Guangdong, known by the nickname "Ba Shu". He began his career in the garment industry and became famous through his jeans brand "Abba". He became chairman of Boya Entertainment and invested in Hong Kong's local entertainment industry. He organized large-scale concerts in Hong Kong, mainland China, and overseas, and expanded his business into tourism, real estate, electronics, environmental protection, and catering. He previously served as chairman of China Environmental Power Holdings. In 2006, he pleaded guilty in court and testified as a witness against a former chairman in a financial misconduct case. In 2011, he was convicted of misappropriation and fraud of funds from two listed companies and sentenced to three years in prison, with an eight-year ban from serving as a company director. He also appeared in several films in acting roles.
