馬嘉均

简介

Mason Ma is a singer-songwriter from Hong Kong, born on 27 May 1979. He attended 寶血會伍季明紀念學校 and 荃灣聖芳濟中學, then enrolled at the Hong Kong Institute of Education, Tuen Mun campus. After graduation, he became a singer-songwriter who frequently writes lyrics, composes music, and produces. In 2000, he co-founded the band RedNoon with three friends, serving as the lead vocalist. He gained recognition in 2009 after uploading videos of himself singing in the MTR on a short video sharing site, and subsequently released albums. In March 2013, 红星娛樂 announced that the other three members of RedNoon had breached their contracts and left the band, leaving Mason Ma as the sole remaining member. In July of that year, he began his solo career with his first radio single 《樸素的尊貴》, also serving as producer for emerging singer 郭承匡, and in November released his debut solo album 《第二旅》. He has won multiple music awards and micro-film awards. In January 2015, he held the 《再見昨天》 sign language concert at Music Zone in 九展, performing with bandmates and guest artists using sign language, aiming to raise awareness for the deaf community.
