简介

Marco Ip was born in Hong Kong in 2000. Before entering entertainment, he was a student who practiced taekwondo for over 10 years. He went to South Korea as a trainee, then joined the talent show "全民造星II" in 2019, reaching the final 30 before signing with ViuTV. In December 2020, he joined group P1X3L under Universal Music. Despite public skepticism toward the group, Marco remained optimistic and passionate about performing, though he admitted struggling with self-esteem due to his appearance. He released his first solo single "海島與少年" in February 2023, an uplifting ballad meant to bring positivity. He appeared in variety shows including "One Day 约会实况" and "无制限探险队" where he tried eating traditional mosquito patties in East Africa. The first show's success led to a second season in 2025, where he earned perfect scores from six women after previously being known as "single by skill." He acted in several TV dramas including "那年盛夏我们绽放如花," his first role with over ten lines of dialogue, which received audience praise. He released his second single "Joy Boy" in November 2023 and performed in a musical that sold out quickly. He won the 2023 Chiba Best New Male Singer bronze award but missed the ceremony due to illness. His third single "半途而废手册" was released in April 2024, reaching ninth on KKBOX's local chart. In July 2026, he announced his departure from MakerVille to focus on his solo career.
