Kan Mok Chun Yin is a Hong Kong singer, designer, stage producer, and supervisor. He grew up in the Huangdaxian police quarters in Kowloon with an older brother and a younger sister, and his father was a police officer. He participated in a community singing competition at age twelve, and at fifteen was encouraged to sing by the father of singer Teresa Carpio. He studied fashion design in Hong Kong and later in Japan, and opened a men's fashion store in 1982. He won third place in the 1984 eighteen-district amateur singing competition, then won the Best Stage Performance Award at the 1985 New Talent Singing Awards and joined the music industry. He signed with Capital Artists but had no intention of entering the entertainment industry. He later retired to study jazz in the United States and focus on fashion design, then immigrated to Canada in 1997. He returned to music in 2006 after his sister's death and released a memorial album. He collaborated with other singers in musical theater in 2010 and currently works as a Buddhist song teacher.
