简介

Michael Cheung Tin-fu, known as MC, is a Hong Kong singer and actor born on December 1, 1996. In his early years, his father suggested sending him to Canada to study due to poor academic performance, which led to the breakdown of his parents' relationship. He later moved to Canada for his studies until high school graduation, and his father returned to Hong Kong after being diagnosed with cancer. Cheung initially worked as a live performer and freelancer, and in 2019 participated in ViuTV's talent show 《全民造星II》 where he finished as runner-up. During the competition, his father's condition worsened and he passed away, causing him significant stress. After the competition, he chose to establish his own studio for independent development rather than joining ViuTV. At the end of 2020, he joined Warner Music Hong Kong, and on March 30, 2021, released his debut single 《Good Time》 to officially begin his career. He achieved major success in 2022 by winning "Most Outstanding Male Singer" at the 《十大中文金曲颁奖音乐会》 and "Global Chinese Golden Song Award". He also won several prestigious awards including the Gold Award for Best Male Singer at 《新城劲爆颁奖礼》 and Silver Award for Best Male Singer at 《叱咤乐坛流行榜颁奖典礼》. He is known for his diverse musical style with songs such as 《反對無效》, 《Loser》, and 《記憶棉》 receiving widespread acclaim across various music platforms.
