TIAB is a Hong Kong fashion designer, rapper, composer, and lyricist, born on November 12, 1997. He debuted in 2018 with the song "I Don't Wanna" as his first work. He gained fame through songs such as "Why You So Beautiful" and "W.R.U.N," and has collaborated with prominent musicians including Tyson Yoshi, Gordon Flanders, and LEWSZ. TIAB prefers Mandarin as his primary creative language and occasionally writes Cantonese rap songs. He is known for his emotional rap style in Hong Kong's R&B scene. TIAB considers himself a multi-disciplinary artist and is the founder of the fashion brands "1997s" and "Project T." Since entering the industry, he has worked as a composer and lyricist for various singers, mostly in the hip-hop and R&B genres. Starting in 2021, he co-produced several hit singles with his friend Tyson Yoshi, including "STRESSED OUT," "That Guy," and "be mine." He also collaborated with Kayan9896 on several debut songs, including "Be around," "Not Too Close," and "Think I'm in love," which achieved millions of views, helping Kayan9896 win the Best New Female Artist award at the 2022 Ultimate Song Chart Awards. His stage name "TIAB" is derived from the famous Buzz Lightyear phrase "To Infinity and Beyond," serving as both an abbreviation of his name and his motto meaning to transcend limits and the impossible.
