简介

Lin Li, formerly known by his stage name Lin Liyang, was born in 1966 in Beijing, with ancestral roots in Zhangzhou, Fujian, and Indonesian Chinese parents. He moved to Hong Kong at age 5 and grew up in Mei Foo Sun Chuen. He attended SKH St. Clement's Primary School and Tak Sin English College, where he was a schoolmate of actor Siu Siu Lun. At age 16, he joined the first New Talent Singing Awards co-organized by TVB and Capital Artists in 1982, alongside Anita Mui and Hu Weikang. In 1984, he formed the "Hong Kong Little Tigers" with Hu Weikang and Sun Mingguang, and rose to fame through the TVB drama Police Cadet theme songs "Ban Wo Qi Hang" and "Ren Zhe Lei Shuo Goodbye," later attending the Tokyo Music Festival. He moved to Taiwan in 1989, adopting the stage name "Lin Liyang," and gained recognition through the drama "Qing Mei Zhu Ma." His career declined in 1996 due to the rise of Taiwanese-language dramas and idol dramas, leading him to work as a tour guide in Guam for half a year. After returning to Taiwan in 2000, he worked as a waiter, gym receptionist, and eventually earned an MBA sponsorship. In recent years, his role as Du Yitian in "The Ultimate Crime Fighter" became his representative work. He is the second member of the Little Tigers to return to TVB after Hu Weikang.
