郭晉安

简介

Roger Kwok Chun On was born in 1964 on a boat in Hong Kong. He grew up on Cheung Chau island before moving with his family to live in Causeway Bay. He worked with his father painting ships and later worked in a printing factory designing fonts. In 1983, he joined the Shaw Brothers actors' training course. He was discovered by lyricist Lo Kwok Chim in 1955 and signed as an artist, making his television debut in the series "City Story" in 1986. He became widely known for his role as "Ah Wong" in the series "The Gentle Crackdown" and won the Hong Kong Best Actor award three times for his roles in "The Gentle Crackdown", "Life Made Simple", and "The Ultimate Addiction", becoming the third actor to win the award multiple times after Lo Kwok Leung and Lai Yiu Cheung. He was married to former actress Au Chin Yee, with whom he has a son and a daughter; they announced their divorce in 2024 after two years of separation. He is a member of the Hong Kong Artists' Guild.
