简介

Johnny Ku Ka Fung is a former Hong Kong singer and YouTuber, born on 22 December 1992 and raised in Kowloon City. He grew up with two brothers and one sister, dreaming of singing from a young age. He was educated at St. Margaret's Catholic Kindergarten, Pun U Association Wah Yan Primary School, and Victoria Shanghai Academy, and graduated in Business Administration from Nottingham Trent University. He participated in the "Emperor New Talent Singing Contest 2015" but was eliminated in the top ten, then began working as an amateur singer. He underwent corrective jaw surgery to facilitate singing and correct a congenital jaw misalignment. He caught the attention of producer Ho Siu-wai during a charity TV program "Bounty of Happiness," who introduced him to Star Dream Entertainment's manager Ho Chit-to, leading to his signing with the company. In 2016, he signed a one-year contract with JamCast Management, and in June 2019 officially debuted as a Star Dream singer with his first single "Lucky One," the Cantonese theme song of "Happy Family." Due to career constraints and the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, his contract was terminated in October 2020, after which he continued as an independent singer and launched a YouTube channel. He later worked as a wealth management manager at Manulife South Kowloon. He married his insurance colleague in 2022 and they have a daughter.
