鍾偉強 (香港歌手)

简介

Chung Wai Keung is a Hong Kong rock singer, born on 29 August 1953. He received his early education at Gezhi College. In May 1977, he participated in the Asian Song Contest organized by RTV (Rediffusion Television) in Hong Kong, winning the championship by outperforming Leslie Cheung, who had not yet risen to fame. He represented Hong Kong in the 1977 Asian Song Contest Grand Final. Subsequently, he and Leslie Cheung both signed with RTV, gaining opportunities to act in dramas such as 追族 and 沈胜衣, but was unable to showcase his singing talent and did not adapt to entertainment industry life, leaving television in the early 1980s to sell life insurance. His most notable work is writing and composing the song 朦朧夜雨裡 for actor Tony Leung in 1986. In 2012, after more than thirty years away from the music scene, he appeared on the Chinese talent show 激情唱響 on Liaoning Television, achieving fifth place nationally. In 2013, he joined the second season of 中國好聲音 under Wang Feng's team, covering English classics such as Rolling in the deep and Hey Jude, which brought him back into the public spotlight. In 2015, he released his first personal album titled 三分鐘, which included a re-recording of 朦朧夜雨裡. He also held a concert titled "滾回來" in December 2013 at the Music Zone in Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre.
