黃綺加
简介
Huang Yijia, also known by her stage name Wang Yijia, was an amateur Hong Kong singer active in the early 1980s. She was reportedly a nurse by profession. In 1981, she was given the opportunity to sing "Xinshi," an interlude song for a TV drama, and her performance attracted attention. The song was selected as one of the top ten Chinese songs in a 1981–1982 television poll. After the song's success, she signed with a record company and became one of the company's promoted new stars. Her voice was described as tending towards richness and depth. It is believed that record company policies limited her development, resulting in few works, and she eventually disappeared from the music scene. Huang Yijia was married and had a school-age son when she entered the music world. Three name variants appeared in the media: Huang Yijia, Wang Yijia, and Huang Yijia, and she herself confirmed that her correct name ends with "jia" not "jia."
