甄秀儀

简介

A Hong Kong singer who was active in the popular music scene from the 1960s to the early 1980s, known as the "Queen of Water Long Flow". She mainly performed Mandarin pop songs in the 1960s, and also sang in English, Japanese, Cantonese opera, and Yue opera. With the decline of Mandarin pop in the 1970s, she shifted to Cantonese pop, focusing on covers, with notable songs including "Fen Fei Yan" (duet with Chen Haode). She appeared on television in the mid-1970s while still performing in nightclubs. Around 1975, she effectively made Canada her primary residence. She began fading from the spotlight in the 1980s, and after marrying erhu player Yan Guanfa, the couple dedicated themselves to Cantonese opera development. She also provided dubbing for a 1971 film. She is said to be the sister of Jenny Tseng's stepfather.
