简介

Hung Wan Kei is a Hong Kong singer, born on June 25, 2003. She began learning to sing in 2021. In her early days, despite her techniques not being mature yet, she applied for the TVB singing talent show "Stars Academy 2" but received no response. In 2022, she participated in the singing talent show "Just Youth" organized by HOY TV, at the age of 19 and as a secondary school student taking the Diploma exam, and successfully qualified, being considered the favorite to win. She studied singing at Xing Ge Creative Arts School, and the media often compared her to singer Gigi Yim, winner of the first "Stars Academy" in 2021, calling her "Gigi Yim's rival." Before participating in the competition, she had already recorded a promotional song for the series "The Black Gold Storm." On December 18, 2022, she won the "Just Youth" competition. After the competition, she expressed her annoyance at the constant comparison with Gigi Yim, considering that they are not similar in appearance or style, and wanting to shed the title of "Gigi Yim's rival." After graduating from high school, she enrolled in the music program at Hong Kong Design Institute.
