简介

Hung Sum-yee is a Hong Kong singer, born on June 2, 2002. She studies in the Music Department of Chung Chi College at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has been active in the Hong Kong entertainment industry since 2024. In July 2024, while a fourth-year student, she represented the Chinese University of Hong Kong in a joint university singing competition between Hong Kong and mainland China called "Campus Good Voice – Sing for China" and won the championship. After winning the competition, as a freelancer, she was invited by TVB to appear as a guest on the music programme "J Music" and the annual beauty pageant "Miss Hong Kong 2024". In late November 2024, music producer Ng Chung-hang announced signing a contract with Hung Sum-yee to become her manager. News soon emerged that TVB had terminated its cooperation with Ng Chung-hang and that their relationship had deteriorated, with the dispute over Hung Sum-yee's management contract seen as the main cause, sparking widespread discussion. Ng Chung-hang responded that Hung Sum-yee had decided not to sign with TVB in November before beginning negotiations with him.
