Biography

Myth Or Yik Yi is a Hong Kong actress, singer, and writer. She graduated from the City University of Hong Kong Community College preparatory program in 2011 and obtained an associate degree in Japanese in 2013. After graduation, she worked at a Japanese-funded company. In June 2015, she joined 100Most (毛記電視) under the stage name "盤菜瑩子" (On Choi Yingzi), becoming one of the more popular anchors among netizens. Her Japan-loving image and distinctive cheek dimples became her trademark features. On November 2, 2015, she made her singing debut on the show "勁曲金曲" with the parody song "越癌越愛," and won the eighth place at the "第一屆十大勁曲金曲分獎典禮" on January 11, 2016. Initially, she refused to reveal her real name, which was rumored online to be Christy Or or Myth Or, until a media tip on January 18, 2016 exposed her identity. She admitted to having eyelid surgery, with many netizens saying she was cuter before the procedure. On May 11, 2016, she performed "我聲帶真的受傷了" (a parody of 王菀之's "我真的受傷了") in the "我是超級蒙面好聲音" segment at 毛記電視's anniversary show, impressing audiences with her high-pitched vocals. In 2016, she published the book "如果我在東京不快樂." In June 2025, she announced her departure from 毛記電視 and the retirement of her stage name 盤菜瑩子.
