简介

Miranda Lee, known as Li Jia, is a Hong Kong singer born on 3 July 1978 in Shanghai. She comes from an artistic family; her father is a famous Peking opera actor and her mother is a Yue opera actress and opera tutor. Influenced by her family from a young age, she loved singing and performing, joined a Shanghai TV performance class at age three, and became a guest actor with the Shanghai Opera Troupe at age five. She began vocal training in junior high and achieved outstanding results in various singing competitions. She formally entered the music industry in 2000, initially focusing on pop music, then shifted to Bossa Nova and Latin jazz from 2004. In 2006, she joined MANDARINA CHINA BAND as lead vocalist, the world's first band to combine Latin music with Chinese pop. She was praised by Shanghai Daily and Shanghai Weekly as a "born singer." In 2009, she moved to London with her husband to focus on family, then relocated to Hong Kong in 2016, where she won multiple public competitions. In 2019, she founded Mirandalee's Studio to teach and nurture new singers, and held her first solo concert in Hong Kong that same year. In 2022, she was the runner-up in TVB's singing contest "Midlife, Sing & Shine," and signed with TVB in 2023. She has since performed frequently, been invited as a guest singer at concerts, and toured North America twice. In March 2025, she completed her first solo jazz concert, and in August 2026 released her debut HiFi EP "MIRANDA LEE."
