Marsha Yuan Zi Hui is a Chinese actress and singer from Hong Kong, whose real name is Yuan He Ma. She was born in Los Angeles, United States in 1978 and grew up in San Marino, California. Her mother is the famous martial arts star Cheng Pei Pei, and she has two sisters, the eldest being actress Yuan Li Ki. Marsha began practicing rhythmic gymnastics at age ten and studied musical theatre at university. In 1999, she returned to Hong Kong and participated in the Miss Hong Kong pageant, winning first runner-up, as well as the awards for best skin and best figure. She has appeared in numerous television dramas and films, including the 2000 series "War of the Genders" which led to a relationship with singer Dicky Cheung, though they separated in 2004. In 2005, she became a disciple of famous martial arts actor Liu Jiahui. She participated in the Chinese musical competition "My Show" in 2007 and released her Mandarin EP "Only For You" in 2006. In 2016, she performed in a musical in Hong Kong, and in 2015 she competed on "The Amazing Race 2" with her brother. In 2022, she announced that she had moved from Hong Kong to the United States with her Moroccan husband and son.
