Anna Ueyama

Biography

Anna Ueyama, also known as Anna Ueyama, is a Chinese-Japanese artist born in Hong Kong and educated in Japan. She was a former actress and singer at Hong Kong's TVB in the 1980s but did not stay long and did not perform in any television dramas. She graduated in 1984 from Canadian Academy, an international school in Kobe, Japan. She entered the entertainment world due to her relationship with Paul Chung. She released her only single "小野貓" in 1986. She appeared in several films including "情逢敌手", "坏女孩", "精装追女仔", and "玻璃樽". She is the niece of actor Charles Chao and cousin of actor Julian Chung, and was a close friend of the late artist Leslie Chung. She married twice and has one daughter from her first marriage. She has since left the entertainment industry and now works in the insurance business.
