Sukie Shek is a Hong Kong singer born on 25 December 1986 in Sai Kung, Hong Kong. She is a native of Sai Kung in the New Territories and studied at Sai Kung Central Primary School and Sai Kung Catholic Secondary School. She began her career in 2007 as a founding member of the female dance and singing group Freeze. She went solo in 2012 and also worked as a radio program presenter on Hong Kong Net Radio's "Chao Bay Chao Chu". In July 2012, she co-published a book titled "Clothes to You" with a hairstylist and fashion stylist. In 2014, she performed in the stage play "大酒店有個荷李活". In 2015, she released her first solo album "聽聽Sukie's" under the stage name Sukie S, winning IFPI Hong Kong's Top 10 Best Selling Local Artists and Top 10 Best Selling Cantopop Albums awards. She joined Star Entertainment in 2017 and continued to achieve success, winning multiple awards at the新城勁爆 Awards, Jade Solid Gold Awards, and IFPI Awards in subsequent years. On 29 December 2017, she married Deng Jianhong. In August 2022, she emigrated with her husband to Canada to start a new life.
