简介

Abella Leung is a Hong Kong singer born on 7 November 1983. In 2010, she was introduced by vocal teacher 梁月玲 to manager 林健華 and signed with his management company 拾點音樂, alongside labelmates 張繼聰 and 王若琪. Upon her debut, she was noted by the public for her resemblance to diva 陳慧琳. That same year, she released her first official song 完美先生, and the following year she launched her debut album Abella 梁佑嘉. Leung began stepping away from the music scene from 2012 onwards, and announced her comeback in November 2018. She won second place at the 22nd CASH Popular Song Composition Contest in 2010 for the song 落差, and received multiple awards in 2011 including 新人薦場飆星獎, 最佳新晉歌手, 新城勁爆新登場女歌手, 最有前途新人獎 優異獎, 最受歡迎新人（女）獎 銅獎, and 最暢銷本地女新人, followed by 新城勁爆躍進歌手 金獎 in 2012 and 最佳進步獎 in 2013. In her personal life, on 7 November 2018 she announced that she had married her partner of 18 years in the previous year and was pregnant, and on 17 January 2019 she gave birth to her son Aiden weighing 6.6 pounds via Caesarean section.
