Giselle Lam Wai Sin was born in Hong Kong to Indonesian Chinese parents. She attended Leung Shek Chee College for her secondary education, where she was active in extracurricular activities including piano, gymnastics, and ballet, and was a member of the school choir and track team. She later studied at the University of Western Australia in Perth, majoring in public relations communications and film. She returned to Hong Kong in 2010 and worked as a visual merchandiser at the fashion boutique Joyce before deciding to pursue a career in entertainment. She participated in the 2011 Miss Hong Kong Pageant and reached the top six. After the pageant, she focused on working as an event emcee and host, and also appeared in numerous Hong Kong and overseas films and television series. In 2017, she joined Tau Xing Production and transitioned to an action actress, starring in the action film "Goddess of Combat" and releasing her first solo single "Flower Bud." In 2024, she participated in the alternative beauty pageant "Beautiful 40" on ViuTV and reached the top 15.
