简介

Jessica Ho Lok Yiu, known by her stage name sica, is a Hong Kong female entertainer and singer, born on 24 May 2000 in Hong Kong. She fell in love with singing after watching a children's musical as a child, which led her to join her primary school choir. In Primary 6, she developed a passion for Japanese culture after encountering AKB48, and in Secondary 1 she became interested in anime after watching "Attack on Titan". After completing secondary school, she enrolled in the Associate of Arts (Visual Arts) programme at Hong Kong Baptist University International College and graduated in 2020. As contestant number 12, she advanced past the pre-96 round by performing Cookies' song "心急人上" and joined mentor Leung Cho-yiu's Group B. Though eliminated in the 40-to-30 round, she gained significant fan support, with supporters creating lightbox ads and support buses for her. She was also invited by mentor Leung Cho-yiu to perform in the stage play "通菜街喪屍戰". In January 2022, she signed with ViuTV (now MakerVille) and began hosting programmes such as "Chill Club推介", "MM730 - 男女自然觀察學會", and "瘋火與膠七". She formed the group "YOLICA" with Hui Po-heng and Kot Chiu-yiu for advertising work. In August 2023, she officially debuted as a singer with her first single "天氣之女". In her debut year, she won the Bronze Award for Best Female Newcomer at the Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation 2023 and the Gold Award for Most Promising Newcomer at the 45th Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs Award. On 5 December 2024, she held her first solo concert "The Wonder of sica 屎卡の奇幻旅程" at MacPherson Stadium in Mong Kok. She cites Anita Mui as her idol.
