AOI

Biography

AOI is a Hong Kong idol artist and model. In August 2015, she was selected to join the Japanese-style idol group Ariel Project and performed in her first official concert in December of the same year. In 2016, she won an activity on the idol support app CHEERZ and traveled to Japan for a photoshoot, with her photos displayed on a large outdoor screen at Shibuya Modi shopping center. In 2018, she won a support activity on the Japanese live streaming platform SHOWROOM and was invited to Kobe to attend KOBE COLLECTION 2017 AUTUMN & WINTER as a model. Ariel Project disbanded in April 2019, and AOI temporarily withdrew from idol activities. During her absence, she participated in Kodansha's Miss iD 2020 and advanced to the semifinals from approximately 3,500 entrants. In August 2022, she resumed idol activities, forming the independent band SURVIVORCHIP in August 2023, and the Japanese-style idol group Yuzu Bubbly in late 2024. In July 2025, Ariel Project announced a 10th anniversary live concert in Hong Kong in September of that year.
