喇叭花 (越剧演员)

简介

Wang Xiuzhen, known by her stage name La Hua, is a Chinese Yue opera actress born in 1916 in Yin County, Zhejiang province. She began studying Yue opera at the age of thirteen. She specialized in performing clown (xiaochou) roles in theatrical productions. In 1950, she moved to Taiwan and joined the Chinese Yue Opera Troupe, achieving great fame across the island. Among her notable theatrical works are: "Da Fu Fu Gui" in which she played the role of "Da", "Wang Hua Mai Fu" in which she played the role of "Wang Hua", and "Luo Mao Feng" in which she played the role of "Fan Zhonghua".
