Biography

Germano Bibi Guilherme, known as Guo Naowen or simply "Gu", was born on October 24, 1987 in Macau and is of Portuguese-Macanese descent. He studied at the Portuguese School of Macau and the Macau Polytechnic Institute, and is one of the few Macanese-born singers and emcees of Portuguese descent. He began his artistic career in 2006 representing Macau in singing anthems for major world sports events. In 2009, he joined major stars Kelly Chen, A-Mei, and Sun Nan in singing the theme song for the opening ceremony of the 11th Chinese National Games. That same year, he participated in "Asian星光大道" and placed fifth, also winning the "Best Stage Presence" award. He signed with Asia Television in 2009 to become a Hong Kong artist. He returned to Macau in 2014 to participate in more television and radio programs. He released successful songs including "灰" which won the MACA original music competition, and "耐得住寂寞" which won three awards at the Ou Guang Shi ceremony. In 2023, he participated in TVB's "中年好聲音2" competition and won the championship in March 2024. He currently works in Hong Kong, Macau, and mainland China.
