Liu Zhibing is a Chinese actor born on March 30, 1963, in Fengxiang Town, Luobei County, Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province. He graduated from the Heilongjiang Provincial Art School in 1979. In February 1982, he was transferred to the Changchun Film Studio actors troupe. In March 2008, he entered the August First Film Studio actors troupe through special recruitment. He currently serves as head of the August First Film Studio actors troupe and is a first-class actor. He was previously married to Feng Liping, with whom he has a son named Liu Sibo. His current wife is Ru Ping, an actress. They met while filming the TV drama "一路风雨一世情" in 1997 and married two years later. Their union was referred to by the media as a "midlife marriage." Both his son Liu Sibo and daughter Xi Wang are actors.
