Biography

Ding Yi is a Chinese actor and model born on December 22, 1988 in Shangqiu, Henan Province. He is the only child of parents who worked as ordinary workers at a local enterprise. He began his professional modeling career in 2008 after winning the Macau championship at the World's Best Model competition. In 2009, he appeared in advertisements for mobile phones and cars. In 2011, he was featured in magazines such as GQ and Men's Health, and was named one of the "Top 10 New Male Models" by Hong Kong fashion magazine MR. He entered the entertainment industry in 2014 with a role in the comedy film "大变话," then signed with Tianjie International Media in 2015. He married actress Bai Bing in 2013 and they had a daughter nicknamed "Yi Yi," though they later divorced. His notable works include the series "青云志," "天泪传奇之凤凰无双," and "浪花一朵朵." He also participated in charity events supporting children with autism and played in charity football matches alongside other celebrities.
