Shi Lanya

Biography

Shi Lanya is a Chinese actress born on December 2, 1971, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. Her name is inspired by a line from a Song Dynasty poem by Su Shi. She graduated from the Acting Department of the Central Academy of Drama. She comes from an artistic family: her father is director Shi Jianfan and her mother is director Yi Peilan. She has performed prominent roles in film, television, and theatre, including films "天皇巨星", "过年", and "告别紫禁城", and TV series "围城", "浦江叙事", "光荣之旅", and "上海沧桑". She was nominated for the Feitian Award for her role in "浦江叙事" in 1997 and for "光荣之旅" in 2001. She was previously married to actor Liu Bin, later married a returnee businessman, and is currently married to actor Li Youbin.
