Lu Jianmin

Biography

Lu Jianmin is a Chinese film and television actor, born on August 23, 1963. He joined the Beijing Film Studio actors troupe to work in films and television. He enrolled in the Beijing Film Academy's acting department in 1984 and graduated in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in film literature. He joined the Beijing Film Studio actors troupe in the same year. His wife is the singer Hu Yue, who became famous in the mid-1980s; they met in 1987 while he was still at university and married in 1992.
