李小龙
🏆 中国电影百年百位优秀演员(1905–2004)简介
Bruce Jun-fan Lee (Lee Siu-lung) was born on November 27, 1940, at Tong Wah Hospital in San Francisco's Chinatown. His father, Lee Hoi-chuen, was a famous Cantonese opera comedian. He returned to Hong Kong in his childhood and attended several schools, including De La Salle College. To strengthen his frail body, his father taught him Tai Chi at age seven, and he later studied Wing Chun under Master Yip Man. In 1956, after a defeat in a gang conflict, he began serious Wing Chun training. He traveled to the United States from 1961 to 1964, studying drama and philosophy at the University of Washington, opening a martial arts school, and guest-starring in American TV shows. In 1970, he returned to Hong Kong at the invitation of Golden Harvest film company and starred in "The Big Boss" (Tang Shan Da Xiong), which became a massive hit and made him an international star. This was followed by iconic films like "Fist of Fury," "Way of the Dragon," and "Enter the Dragon." On July 20, 1973, he died suddenly at actress Betty Ting Pei's apartment in Kowloon Tong while filming "Game of Death," aged 32. Despite his early passing, his global influence endured, and he became a symbol of martial arts and Chinese cinema.
