In 2002, he signed with Badhead Records, a subsidiary of Modern Sky, and released his first solo album "A Bird That Flies High Does Not Land on the Back of a Slow Cow." In 2009, he released the double CD album "Performance of Identity," which included an additional CD titled "Symphony of One Person," further proving his experimental and avant-garde nature. Xiao He holds special significance in Chinese folk music and Chinese music. In 2009, the band 美好药店, with him as lead vocalist, won the Best Band award at the 9th Chinese Music Media Awards.
