Biography

Mai Hongmei (birth name Mai Xiaoqing, stage name Maimaiti Hongmei) is a Chinese actress of Hui ethnicity, born on August 16, 1970. She is also known by her stage name Maimaiti Hongmei. In 2000, she married Chinese singer Sun Nan, with whom she had a daughter and a son. In March 2009, the two agreed to divorce, and Mai Hongmei was granted custody of the children. In July of the same year, media reported that Sun Nan had remarried. In November 2010, Sun Nan filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife to seek a change in child custody, which officially confirmed that the couple had indeed divorced.
