Deng Sha is a Chinese actress born on December 8, 1985 in Hunan Province, mainland China. She graduated from Sichuan Normal University with a major in film and television. She began her artistic career early, winning an encouragement award in an international calligraphy competition in 2000 and achieving the national fifth level in pipa in 2001. She won the Hunan Economic Television entertainment hosting championship in 2004 and reached the national semifinals in Shenzhen Broadcasting Group's fifth "Youth Star" competition in 2005. In 2006, she represented mainland China in the top eight of the Asia Miss mainland China regional competition and reached the top sixteen in the Asian finals, and also qualified among the top 60 contestants in Mengniu's "Challenge the Host" Chengdu regional competition. In 2007, she participated in the actor selection competition for the TV series "Dream of the Red Chamber" organized by Beijing Television, but did not advance in the decisive round for the role of Baochai. She later appeared in various variety shows including "Run for Time" in 2015, "Super Mom" Season 3 in 2018, and "Kids' Words" Season 1 in 2018.
