Che Yongli

Biography

Che Yongli was born on January 28, 1980, in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. She graduated from the Acting Department of the Central Academy of Drama. In 2008, she was deceived by a Korean film company; she had believed she would be appearing in a comedy film, but midway through production the film was changed into an adult-rated movie. She was threatened with a penalty of 200 million Korean won if she refused to continue. The agency Jinyingma intervened and firmly rejected the threat, resolving the matter. The employee responsible for assisting her in signing the contract for this Korean-financed film also resigned.
