Meng Hetang

Biography

Meng Hetang (1988), original name Meng Xianghui, is a famous xiangsheng comedian and the adopted son of renowned artist Yu Qian. He joined the xiangsheng academy in 2008 and became a member of the "He" category in 2009. He currently serves as captain of the Seventh Team at Deyunshe, with Zhou Jiuliang as his partner. He began collaborating with his partner in 2010 and became team captain in 2017. He held his first solo performance in Beijing in 2018 and participated in Deyunshe's global tour in Tokyo. He won the competition "Xiangsheng Has Newcomers" with his partner in 2018 and placed second in "Top Funny Comedian Season 6" in 2020. He has appeared in various TV shows and galas, and made a donation to flood victims in Henan in 2021.
