Fanny Tam Siu Ying is a Hong Kong television and film actress, considered a supporting actress in Asia Television (ATV). She was born and raised in Hong Kong, with ancestral roots in the Baiyun district of Guangzhou city, Guangdong province. She was known for portraying virtuous wives and loving mothers. She performed roles in both period dramas and contemporary series. She participated in a limited number of television dramas during the 1980s and 1990s. She was also one of the regular performers in educational television programs during that period, mostly playing the role of a mother. She retired from acting after 2000.
