Daisy Dai Lian Xi Dan Mei is a Hong Kong actress and television host, whose full name is Tatar Muhuali Dai Lian Xi Dan Mei. She is of Mongolian descent and a descendant of Genghis Khan. She grew up in Hainan where her parents moved for work and studied in local schools. At age 17, she started a fashion business. She scored 831 out of 910 in the provincial college entrance examination, which enabled her to come to Hong Kong and enroll in a Master's program in Education at the University of Hong Kong, graduating in 2016. She participated in the 2016 Miss Hong Kong Pageant, reached the top ten, and won the "Most Popular" vote award, as well as a television acting contract with TVB. She joined TVB as a contracted artiste and completed a three-month acting training course. In February 2018, she ended her contract with TVB to focus on managing her fashion studio "Daisy Shangya International Limited." In 2020, she launched her own fashion brand "DAISY DAI" and opened a physical store in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
