Biography

Dan Wen Rou is a Hong Kong actress and TV host, born on 19 April 1990 in Hong Kong where she was raised. She has one younger sister, and studied at Tianjin Canossa School and Delan Secondary School before attending the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education to study design, then going to the UK to study fashion textiles at the University of the Arts London. After graduating she worked as a textile designer, then participated in the 2016 Miss Hong Kong Pageant but was eliminated in the first round of the top ten. Later that year she joined a three-month acting training course, then mainly worked as a children's programme host. In May 2022 she switched from a manager contract to a basic artiste contract with TVB. In early 2025 she left TVB after nearly nine years. She married actor Chan Chin-ping in October 2018, and gave birth to their daughter Quinta in April 2019.
