Christy Leung Tsz-pui

Biography

Christy Leung Tsz-pui grew up in the Tai Po district of Hong Kong in an ordinary family. She attended Tai Po Kau Primary School between 1988 and 1994, then immigrated with her parents to the United States at age 14 before returning to Hong Kong to continue her studies. She completed her secondary education at Tai Po Sam Yuk Secondary School in 1999 and began working as a model for travel magazines such as "交易通" and "新假期", also participating in RTHK television productions and university graduation films. In 2002, she entered the entertainment industry and joined Cable TV as an entertainment news reporter after passing an audition, but temporarily left due to marriage and pregnancy in 2004 before returning later. She also worked as a flight attendant and fashion store salesperson before settling in the media field. In 2014, she participated with her husband and two foreign friends in a TVB programme production plan under the name "Nucks Production Company" and won the "Most Creative Award", leading to her signing a basic artiste contract with the broadcaster. Her first hosting work was completing the entry programme "胃食遊戲", and she later specialised in food and travel programmes, gaining prominence through the "潮什麼" travel series that began in 2016. In 2019, she founded a travel agency "潮友自由行" after obtaining the licence in 2020. She was nominated for the "Best Female Host" award at the "萬千星輝頒獎典禮2021" for "冰島潮什麼" but did not win. In 2023, she released her first travel guide "跟住christy 潮冰島", and in 2025 she became a Family Harmony ambassador at the "和諧之家" shelter for abused women under the Hong Kong Jockey Club, participating for the first time in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon fundraising event.
