Biography

Fung Mei Ying is a Chinese actress from Hong Kong and the winner of the 1992 Miss Asia Pageant. She was born on March 16, 1968, in Hong Kong. She entered the Miss Asia Pageant in 1992 at the age of 24 while working as a secretary. She was not expected to win, but she surprised everyone by taking the title. The judges praised her composure and elegance during the final, and her victory was largely attributed to the admiration of judge Jackie Chan, who found her poised and dignified. After her win, she joined Asia Television (ATV), but was not heavily utilized. She appeared in a few television productions, most notably the series "Reincarnated II" and "City of Sisters." After her contract with ATV ended, she left the entertainment industry and reportedly returned to work as a secretary.
