Biography

Kris Cheung is a Hong Kong actress born on 16 October 1990. After obtaining her higher diploma, she began her acting career online by applying for freelance acting roles through internet platforms, appearing in web videos, advertisements, and films, though initial opportunities were limited. She also took drama and theatre courses to develop her skills. In 2022, she started participating in the YouTube channel "香城映画" (Shing Cheung Ying Hong), which brought her to the attention of internet users and began building her recognition. In 2025, her career expanded to other television and film productions. She appeared in the ViuTV drama "老是常出現" as nursing home worker "Ah-Lei", in "麻甩媽咪" as a hospital nurse, and in "IT狗2.0" as the CEO of an IT company. That same year, she starred in the Chinese New Year film "麻雀女王追男仔" (Mahjong Queen Chasing Boys), her first major film role as an actress, and her appearance drew considerable attention as many viewers mistook her for actor Shek Ho-Cheung, earning her the nickname "Female Fat Cheung". She also appeared in films such as "殺出個黃昏", "臨時決鬥", and "逆轉上半場", in stage plays including "嬉春酒店2016" and "蓉姐做的湯圓", and in the music video for Lui Tse-On's song "油麻地莎士比亞".
