Flora Zeta Elizabeth Cheong-Leen is a Hong Kong film actress and fashion designer, born on 20 November 1959. She began her career in the 1980s as an actress, appearing in several films and being active in social circles. In 1981, she established her personal fashion brand, Pavlova. Tian Ai studied ballet from a young age and was admitted at age 9 to the Royal Ballet School, a prestigious institution, where she even had a personal statue on campus. She was named one of Hong Kong's Ten Outstanding Young Persons in 1990. Her father, Cheung Yu-hing, was the first Chinese chairman of the Hong Kong Urban Council, who passed away in January 2022. Tian Ai has been married multiple times, first to a foreign hairstylist from 1979 to 1981, then to the former chairman of Esprit with whom she had a daughter, then to senior barrister Woo Hon-ching in 1992, and finally to actor Russell between 2003 and 2012.
