Lydia Tong (Tang Bei Shi) is a Hong Kong actress born on July 10, 1990. She is the daughter of Tang Kwa Wah, grandson of a 1970s industrial tycoon, and her mother Ko Hung Ping was the first runner-up of Miss Hong Kong 1982. Her godmother is renowned actress Carol "Dodo" Cheng. She received her education in the United Kingdom, studying business administration at Queen Mary University of London. After returning to Hong Kong, she worked in online retail with her mother. She began her entertainment career in 2015 when she joined a management company under Xiao Ding Yi. She studied acting under masters such as Anthony Wong, Olivia Yan, and Chung King Fai. She gained significant fame on the live-streaming platform "17" where she accumulated over 5 million followers and over 380 million likes. In 2018, she went to the Beijing Film Academy to further develop her skills. She is passionate about healthy eating and earned a higher diploma in nutrition from the University of Hong Kong. She became an influencer in healthy eating and served as a spokesperson for the hotpot chain restaurant "Yu Xiao Yu" in 2022. She received the "Hong Kong Healthy Artist of 2023" award from the Hong Kong Industry Awards.
