Gigi Wong Suk-yee

Biography

Gigi Wong Suk-yee was born in 1948 in Guangzhou and is a Hong Kong actress and cooking expert. She moved to Hong Kong with her parents in 1958 after completing primary school. She graduated from the RTV artist training course in 1968 and signed with the company. She became a popular artist at TVB in the 1970s, starring in many famous television dramas. In 1983 she emigrated to Vancouver, Canada and later worked at the Canadian Chinese Television. She returned to Hong Kong in 1995 and resumed acting at ATV and later returned to TVB. She is considered one of Hong Kong television's leading actresses of the 1970s and has delivered notable performances in her acting career.
