Mandy Wong Chi Man

Biography

Mandy Wong Chi Man is a Hong Kong actress and TV host born on 21 December 1982 who grew up in San Po Kong. After her parents' divorce, she lived with her mother, sister, and grandmother. She obtained a diploma in dance from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2002 and worked as a flight attendant for Cathay Pacific for three years before returning to earn an acting diploma in 2007. She participated in the 2007 Miss Hong Kong pageant, reaching the top five, and joined TVB's artist training course in 2008. She began with small roles before gaining recognition through her role in the 2009 drama "A Great Way to Care." She won the Most Improved Female Artiste award at the 2012 TVB Anniversary Awards and received Best Supporting Actress nominations. In 2018, she achieved a major milestone by winning both the Malaysia and Singapore Most Favorite TVB Best Actress awards for her role in "Who Wants a Baby?", along with the People's Choice Best Actress award. She was formerly a TVB contract artiste and is currently signed with Kale Entertainment.
