Wai Yee Yan**

Biography

Wai Yee Yan is a former Hong Kong actress who graduated from the fifth TVB Artiste Training Course in 1976. Born in Hong Kong, she graduated from the Wood Road Happy School and Kindergarten in Wan Chai in 1964, then attended the Islamic English School. She enrolled in the TVB Artiste Training Course between 1975 and 1976. In 1986, she married Wu Yifan, a director at TVB. In 1992, she left TVB with her husband to work in Taiwan and Malaysia, later moving to Canada and then Shanghai. She has a sister and a brother; her sister Wai Yee Chong was a former Hong Kong radio broadcaster. She appeared in works such as the stage play Xi Chun Jiudian in 1992.**
