Biography

Wei Luo Sha is a Hong Kong stage and film actress, born in Taiwan in 1983. She grew up in Hong Kong from the age of two, attending St. Paul's School before enrolling at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, graduating with First Class Honours. She joined the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre in 2007 and later moved to PIP Theatre from 2009 to 2013. She won two Hong Kong Drama Awards for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress for works including "News of the Flower's Confession," "Black Monday," and "Double Happiness." She also received the New Talent Award from the Arts Development Council in 2014. She made her film debut in 2014 in "100 Times of Breakup" and appeared in 2023 in "A Phone in the Whole World" and "Diary of a Young Boy," for which she was nominated for a Hong Kong Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. She is married to theatre director Zhang Ming Yao and gave birth to a daughter in 2021.
